Lead Product Implementation & Support Consultant (Flex Home/Office)

You will be accountable for the implementation and support of products, inclusive of implementation and launch of new products, defect management, prioritization, and system support and quality control. Support the product management strategy and product development lifecycle. Partner with other business units on product development, state strategy/pricing and implementation, leading execution of Home Products. Drive strategy and innovation as it relates to future technology products and metrics in alignment with area/enterprise goals.

Position Compensation Range:

$84,000.00 - $139,000.00

Primary Accountabilities


  • You will implement and support assigned products and associated system releases, including defect prioritization and execution of key business initiatives. Work with technology partners on system solutions and requirements, including proposal options and costs.
  • You will support the creation of specific underwriting strategies and policies based on external industry and economic trends, and internal capabilities and our performance - as well as execute against a variety of product initiatives across all stages of a product's lifecycle, including early product planning, customer research and validation, roadmap planning, product development sprints, product launch, metrics analysis, and post-launch iteration.
  • Support the establishment of underwriting referral rules and processes within execution of new capabilities.
  • Be "translator" for both the customer and product, and internal stakeholders, including business lines and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain business rules & requirements and documentation.
  • Contribute to product & pricing planning of processes regarding system impacts.
  • Support the communications, education and launch efforts for assigned products.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers on the development of detailed operational data, metrics, and reporting requirements. Provide product intent (contract and underwriting) for technology solutions.
  • Prioritize initiatives and get commitments from internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor and assists in the development of members of the team.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements


  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • 5+ years experience in Property Insurance product design and underwriting concepts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development processes with an appreciation for maintaining a high-quality bar with low operational overhead.
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in data-driven products and iterative development lifecycles to solve business problems.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783 or Boston, MA 02110.
