Top Customer Compliance Quality Engineer (Carthage)

While the context of customers can conjure thoughts related to sales teams, we also have intricate customer relationships throughout our whole value chain including our manufacturing teams.

Reporting to the site director, you will be a trusted thought partner to the leadership team and will monitor the End-to-End processes of all products identified for Top Tier Customers at our Cincinnati, OH operations facility. You will work to identify issues that could affect customer satisfaction and ensure between internal partners and the customer representatives.

In this exciting position you'll work with...

• Partner and Influence: Monitor the manufacturing process and follow up on operational processes (approval of raw materials for preparation, planning, approval of finished product and product dispatch) for Top Customers, with a focus on proactive problemsolving. Manage customer-facing communications and work to resolve high-visibility challenges related to quality, supply chain, transportation, and manufacturing. Lead collection and interpretation of data in preparation of customer reports or presentations and communicate with partners such as chemical operators, plant management, technical scientists, and regional/global executive, commercial, and sales teams.
• Technical Specialization: Use technical skills and Continuous Improvement/Six Sigma tools to improve root cause identification of food and flavoring formulation/production issues. Improve programs related to the field of Food Science and Food Safety, such as Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HAACP), and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Use technical expertise in the fields of Chemistry, Food Safety, and Chemical Manufacturing to solve complex challenges related to confidential formulations.
• Interconnected Collaboration: This is a strong networking and impact role that serves as the subject matter expert to and with areas within the end-to-end value chain. You?

• Bachelor of Engineering in Chemistry, Food Engineering or Food Science, Industrial/Chemical Engineering or Operations Management
• LEAN Manufacturing / Six Sigma execution experience
• Experience working in a food or chemical manufacturing facility
• Food safety certification helpful
• SAP or similar ERP system
