CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Responsible for customer level forecasts- to include on line replenishment using customer systems, sku forecasting/profiling, promotional planning, performance reporting, This could include data analysis from internal/external stores, branches, or facilities.

Align with Sales, Marketing, Materials/Purchasing Management, Operations, Supply Chain and the Technical group to manage the product lifecycle process. This includes the introduction of new products to market, forecasting the quantity and timing of demand for current products and disposition of existing discontinued products.

Drive to continuously improve the accuracy of the forecasts of the demand for finished goods in order to improve customer satisfaction, sales, profitability and overall supply chain effectiveness.

Work closely with Business Units/customers/leadership teams to understand raw material positions and prioritize and allocate raw materials and capacity accordingly. The incumbent will be responsible for modifying priority rankings in Blue Yonder tools accordingly.

Responsible for all scheduling activities supporting assigned plants. They will balance production and inventory levels with demand to support targets consistent with customer service levels, inventory turns goals and capacity utilization. Maintain all capacity settings in planning tools (including holidays, Scheduled OT, and downtime), utilize weekly performance to plan meetings to ensure manufacturing is achieving targets and adjust accordingly collaborating with Operations.

This role will analyze, develop, and test programs and user interfaces required for implementations or enhancements for our Supply Chain systems. They are responsible for troubleshooting any system issues and working with users to gather requirements for new functionality and model enhancements

Conduct Demand / Supply analysis for monthly S&OP / IBP processes. This can also include 0-10yr long term demand plan to drive hidden factory and Operational Cap Ex.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

Bachelor's Degree or 2 years Supply Chain experience.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in a Supply Chain related field.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

2 years experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Sales, or Operations

Preferred:

APICS CPIM Certification

Blue Yonder Solutions- Business Objects-DSF & SCIS, QAD, MES, REACH, AOM, IVAN, PIM, Salesforce, Oracle, Valplan, WalMart Retail Link, Lowes Dart and various other customer portals.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple complex projects, concurrently.

Must have strong communications skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred:

Procurement, Technical or Manufacturing experience within the coatings industry.
