Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, North America and based out of our office in New York, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive fashion interest and expertise to help shape the future growth of COS, build brand awareness and elevate our customer experience, contributing to our ambition to establish COS as a Sustainable International Power Brand in North America.

As the Regional Concept Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for transforming the global visual experience strategy for our stores within North America to drive visitors and create a unique customer journey throughout the concepts to maximize selling.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to**

  • Responsible for transforming the Global VM experience of the concepts to North America by following the Brand ID as well as the commercial needs, customers and profit.
  • Contribute to a people first working environment, supporting actions based on the annual HR goals.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Junior Concept Merchandiser, contributing to an efficient-and informative-workflow towards the set long and short-term goals.
  • Guide, support, coach and inspire the Area Visual Managers in providing collection guidelines and commercial direction to drive VM goals & selling as well as an inspirational customer experience.
  • Provide insights and feedback for global VM Teams regarding learnings, needs, and expectations; be aware of concepts collection issues, experience, and selling needs.
  • Partner with the Regional Online Team to plan the seamless customer experience to support omni-channel actions.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising to follow the commercial plan, through analysis and the region's concept feedback to maximize selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Marketing Team regarding events, focuses and external collaborations.
  • Develop the concept's VM strategy, planning product and commercial focuses as well as timelines and create VM information packs for North America
  • Compare and analyze results of selling, project testing, and initiatives of local Visual actions and share solutions and learnings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Test and trial new ways of working with presenting the concepts collection, through display, presentation, and communication, and take the learnings.
  • Identify new ways of working within Visual Merchandising - collection presentation, customer experience and the stores of the future.
  • Be aware of competitors as well as the retail landscape, finding relevant inspiration to ensure we are at the forefront of the concept's customer experience.

Compensation: Hiring range is $99,000 - $111,000 annually***

You will have the flexibility to work both remotely and, from the office. While remote working is an integral part of our part of our offer, approx. 3 days per week office presence will be required to foster strong collaborations and teamwork.
