The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking one Graduate student as an assistant for our Campus location to provide assistance to the Office of the University Registrar.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist teams in meeting deadlines and SLAs with tasks and responsibilities by working cross-functionally across the office. This may include assisting with data entry for graduation records, sending mail merges about pending conferral, responding to Service Portal requests, registering students for courses, processing transfer credit course deletions, processing enrollment verifications, unearned F grades, and Scholastic Standing, etc.
  • Provide customer support to students and staff that contact the Registrar's Office via the Service Portal
  • Daily/weekly review and processing of discrepancy reports
  • Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a Graduate program at SNHU
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to provide attention to detail and high-level accuracy
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills
  • Conscientious and hardworking
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other office employees
  • Ability to work at least one weekly shift in-office
  • Ability to commit to at least one year of employment

Work Hours:

  • 15-20 hours per week with flexibility to meet business demands as needed within the following office hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Optional additional hours during break weeks
