The role is encouraged to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/standard methodologies to improve our current services and technologies.

Role: Senior Informix Developer
10+ years of IT

Roles/Responsibilities:
Technical and functional understanding of the application with guidance from client SMEs
Participate in Daily handover calls for Low level Designs and daily implementation tasks for the development activities assigned.
Participate in any best practiced development process for the waterfall development model for SWAT and EXE application areas.
Conduct Developer Unit testing, System Integration testing and share results to SMEs.
QA coordination, to create Test plan and documentation, facilitate testing meetings and take up testing status reporting to stakeholders.

Required:
Informix 4GL programming language
Informix database.
Unix AIX shell scripting

Nice to Have:
Experience with Infor's WMS 2000
Retail domain

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $115,900 to $126,800 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
