Job responsibilities
* Cybersecurity program management
* Leads a global team that is responsible for cybersecurity tool selection and oversight of implementation and operations of tools
* Leads cybersecurity policy enforcement efforts and provides advice to Business Technology security operations teams in implementing security controls
* Drives strategic planning and set goals for the cybersecurity office and BT.
* Leads the team in the recommendation of security products/tools to increase overall security posture of the enterprise
* Leads the team in reviewing and improving current security products/tools.
* Manages the cybersecurity exception process
* Will be the lead member/representing cybersecurity at the Change Management (CM) review meetings, as well as any ad hoc CM review meetings
* Manages team in relation to IR, and will be the key interface between BT security operations and the cybersecurity office
* Provides oversight to the vulnerability management program to address both new and on-going vulnerability management
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What we're looking for

* Information technology experience, with extensive experience in cybersecurity.

* Pharma or healthcare experience managing cybersecurity operations, incident response, security tools, cybersecurity vendors/contractors, and project oversight.

* Cybersecurity manager level experience.

* Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally with all levels of management regarding complex employment legal issues.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities and work with various stakeholders.

* Ability to partner with team members to achieve results that make business sense, including identifying opportunities for effective process improvements.

* Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.

* Ability to collaborate with colleagues and take a business-oriented approach while identifying and balancing risks and providing succinct, accurate and pragmatic advice.

* Exceptional analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and risk assessment skills.

* Independent judgment, attention to detail, a desire to learn, and an ability to take on and prioritize a wide variety of complex matters while meeting tight deadlines.

* Can-do attitude, ability to work under pressure and to manage the expectations of business partners.

* ISC2 CISSP certification (preferred).
