Job Description

The Manager - Global Network Operations is a technical professional responsible for overseeing network operations and ensuring network performance, security and availability. You will also ensure availability and stability of Rockwell's network infrastructure, security, and related components.

This role is hybrid and is based out of our Houston, TX office.

You will report to the Director- Technical Operations.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee all technology operations, including network security, and evaluate them according to established goals.

* Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by management.

* Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.

* Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and provide feedback into expense planning.

* Coordinate IT resources, technicians, and other professionals to provide guidance.

* Control the budget and report on expenditure.

* Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.

* Professionally represent IT in discussions the other divisions of Rockwell.

The Essentials- You will have

* Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience

The Preferred- You may also have

* Typically required 8 years of management experience.

* Experience as an IT director/Senior manager, or similar role.

* Experience leading large global network operations teams.

* Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.

* Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.

* Experience in controlling information technology budget.

*Lead technical recovery in high-pressure business impact situations.
