Job Summary:

Benjamin Moore is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Montvale, NJ as a Senior Data Analyst and Point-of-Sale System (POS) Program Support Professional. The primary focus of this role will be to supervise and process pricing and data review and maintenance, data analysis, and coordinator responsibilities related to onboarding of our Independent Retailers into Benjamin Moore Programs and to our Preferred point-of-sale (POS) systems ensuring seamless integration and support throughout the process as well as to ensure accuracy and integrity of our Master Inventory Item Database and Store Information.



Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise the activities of the Data Analyst and Program Support role by
* Providing guidance, support and coaching to help them achieve their goals and improve performance
* Provide feedback as needed
* Collaborate with manager and other team members to develop and implement strategies for improving processes and productivity

Oversee, coordinate and process the following in a supervisory role in order to ensure accuracy, inclusion and completion.
* Interface Review:
o Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly interface review to ensure accuracy and integrity and follow up on exceptions for all data related to the following:
- Master Inventory Items Database
- Store Status Information

* Communication, and Coordination:
o With Independently Owned Retail store and Corporate personnel as related to POS program implementation and maintenance
- Properly log, update, and distribute program status reports
- Manage group mailboxes for program submissions

* Program Implementation:
o Onboard Retailers from a POS perspective into various BM Programs, including Outside Sales Rep (OSR), Contractor Commercial Pricing/Director of Sales Rebate (CCP/RSD), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Contractor Rewards (BIW) and others
o Evaluate, validate, track, and follow through on all stages of program implementation, ensuring data accuracy and inclusion, POS functionality, responsiveness

* End User Support:
o Review incoming requests from end users and interpret work to be performed
o Assist Retailers using our endorsed point-of-sale system and other POS systems with data and operational needs
o Investigate and troubleshoot POS and program related issues, then take the steps to resolve the root cause

* Data Analysis and Manipulation:
o Conduct large-scale data analysis and manipulation, including preparation of load files (BM products - possibly others from our database), Benjamin Moore Cost Updates, inventory item data review, conversion, and cleansing
o Create new and maintain existing Access and Excel data tools

* Inventory Support:
o Back up support for Retailer Physical Inventory Counts and related analysis as needed

* Reporting:
o Create, run, and distribute various periodic and ad-hoc reports using a variety of applications to support all of the above as well as to meet the needs of our customers, including Consumers, Retailers, Corporate personnel
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting requirements and ensure that reports are aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs

* Documentation and Procedures:
o Create and maintain written procedures and best practices for various activities
o Review and update existing documentation to reflect changes in processes, policies, and regulations when needed
o Prepare and distribute communications and newsletters

* Special Projects and Meetings:
o Assist with special projects and tasks as needed
o Document and distribute weekly meeting minutes

* Work Schedule:
o Occasionally, evening and weekend work may be required to meet the needs of the Business



Qualifications

Desired Skills & Experience:

* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role
* 5+ years experience in the retail environment with a demonstrated experience in retail operations, including a deep understanding of retail business processes, is highly desired
* Prior experience in the paint or home improvement industry is desired, providing familiarity with industry-specific dynamics and customer needs
* 2+ years system/data maintenance with emphasis on customer/inventory data
* Demonstrated success in leading teams and achieving goals
* Experience in performance management, coaching and development of team members
* Solid customer service experience
* Ability to successfully multi-task while maintaining data integrity - manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring data integrity and accuracy are maintained at all times
* Must be detail oriented
* Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Capable of conducting thorough research, exercising sound judgment, prioritizing tasks effectively, and executing them with precision and efficiency
* Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
* Quick learner with a positive and professional demeanor, adaptable to changing priorities and environments
* Strong Microsoft Office Skills in Excel, Word, Access, and SAP Business Objects
* Familiarity with point-of-sale applications is desired, demonstrating an understanding of retail transaction processes and systems
* Knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL querying, Toad, SAP, and Qlik Sense is advantageous

    2 year college degree or equivalent technical training or work experience
