Job Title: Part-time Entry Laboratory Science Professional (0.5 FTE)

Position #00819834 - Requisition #32672

Job Summary:

The goal of this position is to investigate mitochondrial function from freshly explanted human heart tissue. One of the goals of our research program is to investigate how the human heart responds to different drugs that affect the mitochondria. The heart needs a lot of energy to sustain contractility. In addition, the position involves molecular and cellular experiments and data analysis. The ideal candidate will be someone interested in understanding biological processes in heart disease, learning new methodologies and in performing careful data analysis.
