JOB SUMMARY:

The Media Strategy Supervisor supports the strategic development of data-driven, integrated media plans that address client needs. By using resources and data, the Supervisor supports the development of briefs and strategic recommendations with the expectation of presenting findings and recommendations to clients and potential new business opportunities. The Supervisor is responsible for tracking project deadlines and deliverables while managing direct report(s).

*Data-Centric Insight Generation

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Utilize all available resources (syndicated, proprietary & historical) to support development of integrated, data-driven media strategy and channel mix, recognizing the unique strengths of both Traditional & Digital media channels working together to accomplish brand marketing goals.

*Mine audience and media consumption data to summarize key takeaways, areas of opportunity and focus.

*Understanding how to define different high value audiences and use data to effectively propose strategies to find them with greater proficiency.

*Support managers in development of media briefs and strategic recommendations grounded in data, including the development of supportive content, rationale and help with visualization.

*Accountable for timelines and accuracy of team outputs and deliverables.

*Be prepared to attend and present media assignments and recommendations in live meetings with clients, including existing clients and potential new business.

*Train and nurture more junior talent on the Strategy team

*Proactively manage team and direct reports towards delivery of timely and accurate projects, effectively elevating challenges and suggested approaches for troubleshooting to managers

3+ years of integrated Off-line and Online Media Planning experience

REQUIRED/PREFERRED

(Experience in the Pharmaceutical category - having both Consumer/Patient and HCP experience is a plus)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

*Experience in supporting the development of thoughtful, insight-driven and integrated media and measurement strategy to help clients achieve their objectives.

*Hands-on familiarity with off-line and online media channels, including channel selection, experience with budget setting and evaluating effectiveness.

*Experience working with media-vendor community and an understanding of publisher offerings and buying models is important, though this position will not require detailed tactical planning & buying.

*Technical proficiency in using syndicated tools and data (e.g. - Kantar, Telmar, Comscore, Pathmatics, etc.) to uncover target and behavioral insights that drive well-reasoned recommendations.

*Experience in managing more junior members on the team.

Salary

$81,000 to $116,000 annually

The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
