SERVICE MANAGER

Our growing organization is currently searching for a dynamic individual to take on the role of SERVICE MANAGER at our Decorah, IA. Dealership.

This position is responsible for the activities of 10-15 technicians.

This individual will be responsible for the complete operations of the Service Department.

Responsibilities include:



  • Direct and coordinate activities concerned with repair and maintenance of diesel engine vehicles, and operation and maintenance of truck service facilities.
  • Work closely with the Fixed Operations Manager to grow the department and make necessary decisions to maintain profitability.
  • Develop, monitor and report on performance metrics including revenue, profitability and efficiency.
  • Build and grow customer-base and relationships.
  • Respond to customer concerns.
  • Plan and prepare work schedules and assign employees to specific duties.
  • Communicate policies, procedures and company/department goals to employees.
  • Collaborate with the Training Department to develop skills and competencies for employees.
  • Assure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism in representing the Company to employees and customers.
  • Performing Daily-Weekly Meetings
  • Building Retention with Teammates
  • Setting Goals to Train and Grow Technicians



Minimum requirements include:



  • Previous supervisory experience in Truck Service a must.
  • Experience with Procede strongly preferred.
  • Process focused, detail oriented with excellent time-management skills.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors and employees.
  • Valid Driver's License
