About the Opportunity
The Department of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck surgery at WVU is seeking applicants for a research position for a period of 12 months. The position will assist in research activities with faculty mentors from the respective specialists in the department. The expectations are that they will be involved in research activities in collaboration with faculty, residents as well as other learners and students in the department.

What you'll do:



  • The expectations are that they will assist in and be involved in research activities in collaboration with faculty, residents as well as other learners and students in the department. Research activities involve the below projects but not limited to:

    • Assist in research related to obesity and its relationship with Tongue base obstruction in pediatric DISE
    • Assistant in research related to respiratory phase-related variation in oropharyngeal obstruction in children with obstructive sleep-disordered breathing
    • Assist in research related to SNOT-22 study



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 0-6 months skills needed to complete research activities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office - Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
