We currently have an opportunity for a Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) toLead the BOP Engineering and Design Engineering efforts related to the implementation of power upratings on the balance of plants and design change packages to support business growth that is expected as a result of the inflation reduction act with plants looking to perform power upratings and replace Balance of Plant (BOP) components. The CSM will lead the business segment on BOP and design engineering for specific utilities, and help Westinghouse differentiate and provide competitive offerings through understanding of customer-specific needs and requirements, solution selection, technical content of proposal, costing & pricing, responsiveness, and quality of bid. The CSM position will also help ensure programs are delivered successfully to our customers.

What your Day to Day Looks Like




  • Lead efforts to leverage / develop key customer relationships at Nuclear Utilities, specifically in Engineering, to facilitate the understanding of customer needs and ultimately create proposals with strong value propositions to meet customer needs and secure Orders Entered (OE). The CSM will be accountable for OE and opportunity pipeline growth for product/technology areas in this portfolio.
  • Work in the BOP product line to monitor and assess near-term client trends, customer buying patterns and competitor moves to adjust product positioning. Recommend and validate the price to capture maximum market value at America's plant while delivering on business plan assumptions such as Margin As Sold; collaborate with the Sales team, to align on final price to customer. Collaborate with Sales on capture planning and final order negotiations.
  • Support the BOP Design Engineering and SRIES Senior Director to provide accurate product financials as well as regular financial forecasting. Support the business unit by developing resource demand signal for Global Engineering Service (GES)/Global Operation Services (GOS) engineering needs and engage with GES/GOS resource management when needed.
  • Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, such as Global Engineering Services (GES) resource management, to ensure people, processes and technology are available to deliver offer commitments as well as enable market growth. Ensure strong collaboration with GES resource managers occurs, along with Sales / Commercial Integration to generate and provide high quality proposals to America's utilities.
  • Navigate the various product lines within ES Americas (BOP Engineering, NSSS Engineering, SRIES, etc.) as opportunities arise, interfacing with other Customer Solutions Managers and Engineers, as needed



What We'd Like to See From You




  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in product management, business or operations with increasing progression and complexity.
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Power Plant design, market and customers are preferred.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and provide customer insights.
