This position is responsible for providing dedicated program support for the global payroll implementation and Time-To-Pay initiatives. The incumbent will manage regional project managers (internal and/or external) to ensure projects within each region remain on track and on budget. The incumbent will work closely with the project teams, leadership and functional teams within business groups and back-office organizations on a global level to ensure alignment on global strategy, value capture, and work transitions. The incumbent will oversee program management at both global and regional level for all Time-To-Pay initiatives. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of the business strategy, objectives, and goals. Establish relationships with key project leaders and business stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, manage, and track all project tasks, accountable for project deadlines, key milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure best practices are implemented for end-to-end time-to-pay processes including the facilitation and creation of SOP's and business workshops.
- Facilitate and drive the transition of work between HR, HRSS, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams in country, ensuring the adherence to global strategy and value capture, reporting back progress and/or roadblocks to senior management.
- Manage vendor performance and work directly with vendors to develop roadmaps aligned with organizational business unit needs and product readiness.
- Estimate project skill requirements and work with business groups to identify subject matter experts to form the appropriate project team.
- For multi-country, multi-region projects, manage and oversee project management at both global and regional levels.
- Assist Sr. Director to manage implementation resource availability and project cost to budget. Participate in hiring activities when needed.
- Identify potential risks and present mitigation solutions to project team.
- Deliver clear and concise communication related to project work to steering committees and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate and track post go-live stabilization efforts. Track lessons learned, identify improvement opportunities, and facilitate and develop timeline for future enhancement/implementation.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: Required:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Preferred:
- Project management certification or designation desired
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required:
- 5 years of proven track experience in implementing large scale projects or global programs
- Strong experience in managing vendor performance for project delivery and timeline
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional presentation expertise
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across various levels internally, including executive level with key stakeholders, as well as externally with third party vendors and external resources
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to develop process mapping and standard operating procedures
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment
Preferred:
- Experience in accounting, finance, payroll, HR, supply chain, IT experience
- Global Payroll and Global Time & Attendance implementation experience desired
- International project management experience desired
