E- Commerce Shift Leader

JOB SUMMARY: The E-commerce shift lead supports the E commerce manager and is responsible for driving revenue through the timely listing, picking, and shipping of all items listed for sale on the site(s) we utilize while maintaining a staff that is properly trained and developed. The E-commerce shift lead will also be responsible for achieving expected productivity levels across the E commerce staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Comply with Agency policies and Donated Goods E-commerce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the Agency's safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Motivate, develop, and supervise all E-commerce personnel to maintain and exceed the Agency's operational standards.
  • Assist the E commerce manager with resolving any complaints / concerns from customers and employees.
  • Maintain proficiency for tasks required in all workstations.
  • Monitor and maintain overall E-commerce department appearance, including cleanliness of facility and housekeeping to Agency standards.
  • Perform all functions performed by E-commerce personnel.
  • Assist with conducting all monthly meetings with E-commerce employees.
  • Maintain all company records and reports accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Attend all meetings and training as required by the Agency.
  • Meet E-commerce sales goals and operate within budgetary guidelines.
  • Oversee the receipt of items and the listing, picking, and shipping of sold merchandise.
  • Ensure quality of merchandise and proper listing process.
  • Provide excellent customer service and train employees in customer service skills.
  • Assists with daily reports, payroll, and daily sales reports.
  • Abide by the policies and procedures as set forth by management.
  • Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings and report any unsafe work conditions, accidents, or injuries immediately.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Associates Degree or completion of related retail management course work preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a supervisory role of 5 or more employees and/or demonstrated success in a Donated Goods Retail leadership position with completion of Goodwill assigned training.
  • 6 months of online selling experience and / or in an auction environment that involved the sales of collectible items is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Must pass a Goodwill approved criminal background check.
  • Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
  • Reliable transportation and communication, required.
  • Bilingual a plus.

  • This work is physical and requires the following activities: Standing, walking, twisting, bending, grabbing, and reaching for long periods of time; occasional squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • The ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds, or more with assistance.
  • Employee is required to operate a computer and handle donated goods.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • Works in climate-controlled warehouse environment most of time but will be exposed to airborne particles such as dust, mold, dirt, and pollen as well as extreme heat and cold.
  • Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. Work schedule includes days, evenings, holidays and blackout periods, weekends may be required.
  • Works 40 hours per week.
  • Moderate noise level.
  • Occasional travel required.
