You will serve as a substance abuse expert on an interdisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) clinical team working with individuals diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness or General Mental Health diagnosis under Court Ordered Treatment. Recently awarded among Arizona's Most Admired Companies in 2022 & 2023 by AZ Big Media Responsibilities Seeking an ACT Substance Abuse Specialist to join our interdisciplinary ACT clinical team working with individuals diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or General Mental Health diagnosis under Court Ordered Treatment at our 23rd Ave Healthcare Clinic. This role does not require a clinical license, but substance abuse services experience is required. Pay starting at $18.38/hour (DOE) $2,000 Sign on Bonus Full-Time Employed: 40 hours/week Location: 23rd Ave and Dunlap in Phoenix, AZ and out in the community (approximately 20% in an office setting, 80% in the field) Bilingual in Spanish is a plus (Additional Language Differential Pay Available) Must have very flexible schedule as this team provides treatment 7 days/week, including weekends and holidays $2/hour ACT Differential in addition to base pay Competitive Mileage Reimbursement The ACT Substance Abuse Specialist Develops program activities, facilitates teamwork for outpatient co-occurring disorders services, and conducts individual sessions and classroom-style group treatment services. Works as a team member of an ACT clinical team to assess member needs and goals, participates in the development of individual service plans, acts as a member advocate and liaisons with families and community agencies. Utilizes Motivational Interviewing techniques to effectively engage members into treatment services. Serves as the ACT team's expert for substance use issues by providing other team staff with education and consultation in respect to substance use issues. Works under the direct supervision of the ACT Clinical Coordinator.
Works as a team member of an ACT clinical team to assess member needs and goals, participates in the development of individual service plans, acts as a member advocate and liaisons with families and community agencies.
