Benchmark is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to lead our team in providing crisis support services to individuals in our community who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Lead Clinician will provide administrative support through the identification and attendance at key community meetings within their assigned zone. The Zone Lead will assist with schedules for the Zone and identifying staffing and scheduling issues to be brought to the attention of the Supervisor. The Zone Lead will complete administrative duties on a regular basis, including but not limited to documentation quality reviews, community outreach, and staff development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Complete crisis assessments, including child and adolescent addendum and Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS).
  • Answer 100% of crisis dispatches, and respond face-to-face to all crisis calls within and average of 60 minutes
  • Assess for safety and complete involuntary commitment as needed (LCSW and LPC only).
  • Develop crisis safety plans and assist in facilitating linkage to the appropriate level of care.
  • Follow up with individual's provider, as appropriate to ensure they adhere to crisis-service-recommended

    support/service.
  • Facilitate referrals quickly to prevent escalation of crisis.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction surveys are given to consumers of crisis services.
  • Complete necessary documentation in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Provide crisis follow-up services within 24 hours of crisis disposition for youth served, as well as any other

    individuals for whom it is clinically appropriate.
  • Ensure individuals are linked with appropriate follow-up psychiatric, social, and or medical services before

    discharge.
  • Assist with the Collaborative committees and support their goals, both administratively and through

    outreach.
  • Complete documentation as required by Benchmark Human Services and state and federal regulation.
  • Attend NAMI and other local meetings in the region and provides education regarding blended mobile crisis.
  • Complete weekly documentation of the outreach in the communities within the Zone and turn in to the

    Supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Must have a Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, and any other

    closely related behavioral health field of study.
  • Licensed as LCSW, LMSW, or LPC
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness, emotional disorders, and substance-related disorders who are experiencing emotional or behavioral crisis.
  • Valid driver's license.
