Job Summary/Basic Function |
The Admissions and Financial Aid Assistant is responsible for supporting the Admissions and Financial Aid Departments. This position will process admission and dual enrollment applications and federal and state financial aid. The position will also provide clerical support to the Student Services personnel. |
Minimum Qualifications |
- Associates Degree in Office Systems or related field
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally
- Two years of customer service experience in a professional office setting
- Exceptional technology skills (i.e. Word, Excel, database, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Demonstrated experience working in an enterprise resource planning (ERP system) or database.
- Three years or more of customer service experience in a professional office setting.
- Prior work experience with processing detailed information.

Provide support to the Admissions Department, Financial Aid Department, Dual Enrollment and Early College Department, and other departments as needed. |

Assist with Dual Enrollment registration, email, and intake of dual enrollment documentation. |

Assist with entering data from various sources into
SIS and related systems. |

Responsible for checking, responding to, and filing incoming communication (emails, phone calls, letters, faxes, etc.) |

Assist with outreach campaigns including retrieving data, mail merges, phone/text communication efforts and assemble and coordinate informational packets. |

Acquire and maintain lists of high school student information. |

Assist with scholarship processes including communication, review and rank of applications, and database report creation. |

Assist Financial Aid department with awarding state financial aid programs. |

Pull data from
SIS to assist departments for communication and decision making. |
