Position Summary:


The Training Coordinator provides Mental Health First Aid Training, coordinates existing training in the community, drives training expansion, and increases tracking of referrals.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Driver's License upon hire and Proof of Auto Insurance upon hire.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Mental Health First Aid Certification


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Communication skills, written and verbalOrganizational skills with attention to detail Microsoft Office technology; Word, Excel, Outlook


Essential Functions:

  • Client/Customer Training* Maintains Mental Health First Aid Trainer Certification, including necessary specific modules, by meeting annual training requirements* Implements Mental Health First Aid Training program for law enforcement, first responders, per-workforce students, and the general public.Client/Customer Coordination * Works with Community partners to develop, market, and implement a coordinated Mental Health First Aid program for Central Illinois* Creates and maintains a referral resource and implements distribution plan. * Assists in the recruitment of new community partners including presenting at kick off meetings for new partnerships* Identify opportunities to increase community engagement in training programsData Collection/Program Evaluation* Collects data required by grant and identified by organization/community partners. * Assists Project Director in developing a community referral tracking system to capture how many referrals to mental health services are made by Mental Health First Aid trainees.* Assist Project Director with yearly strategic plans including meeting program goals as defined by the sponsor* Evaluates and recommends improvement strategies to Project Director and community partners.
