Position: Japanese Bilingual Account Sales Representative
Location: Cook County, Illinois (Hybrid Remote)
Working Hour: 8:30am - 5:00pm
FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire
Overview:

A international airline located in Cook County is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Account Sales Representative with experience in the travel and/or airline industry. As an Account Sales Representative, you will be responsible for day-to-day corporate account communications, developing account strategies, and collaborating with business partners to enhance sales activities. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of sales/marketing experience in the travel industry and be fluent in Japanese.
Essential Job Duties and Functions:
Drive sales revenue by analyzing the account portfolio and developing strategies to maximize outcomes.
Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the most effective contract pricing and schemes.
Collaborate with and educate travel agencies and other representatives to enhance product sales.
Establish and strengthen business relationships with clients and partners through telephone calls, emails, and in-person visits.
Engage in effective sales discussions by preparing brochures and contracts highlighting product features and services.
Assist in promotional and/or hospitality events to develop relationships with partnerships.
Research market trends, pricing, and competitor information to develop effective sales strategies.
Stay updated on product knowledge, current promotional items, and company operations.
Perform additional duties as necessary to support the sales team and achieve company goals.
Qualifications:
5 years of corporate sales and marketing experience required.
Experience working in the travel industry is required.
Bilingual in Japanese.
Bachelor's degree.
Proficient in MS Office.
Ability to travel 1-2 times a month.
