Overview

Manages System Operations Standards and Procedures. Manages the issuing/revising System Operations manuals, bulletins, policies, and procedures. Ensure the accuracy and effective distribution of the documents throughout the organization. The point of contact for external and internal audits and inspections for System Operations. The Sr. Manager System Operations Training & Standards is responsible for onboarding of new employees, maintaining standards, and initial and recurrent training for System Operations GCC team members. Additionally, this role supports the other teams in System Operations for recurring training and team development.



Responsibilities

    Training and standards for the System Operations team.
  • Maintain and publish manuals and bulletins.
  • Prepare training materials, development of process and contribute to the organization by ensuring corporate strategies are defined in departmental goals and objectives, and assuring these are properly directed and implemented accordingly.
  • Responsible for recommending and participating in generating Company policies and initiatives.
  • Has authority for determining and driving the requirements and necessary efforts for the achievement of key results.
  • Collaborate with the Director System Operations, on revisions and updates to System Operations manuals and compliance content.
  • Partners with Document Services on manual revision processes and activities. Ensures procedures and guidelines are established for effective and efficient management of the Atlas Air Operation.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Must have 7-10 years background with airline operations or aviation industry.
  • Prior experience as Airline Operations Control Center Management preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage the activities of a diverse work force.
  • Skilled problem solver with superior leadership qualities.
  • Technical writing experience and computer proficiency in the required subject areas.
  • Must possess personal integrity and administrative skills to handle changing regulations and requirements.
  • Must demonstrate the desire and the ability to work in a collaborative team based, fast paced, high energy environment.

Salary Range: $91,000-$123,000

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset."
