Operations Planning Director

The Operations Planning Director provides planning administration including scheduling, budgeting, performance monitoring, analysis, reporting, personnel planning, resource management and capacity planning. The position will report to the GM and will have 4 direct report planners. The key stakeholders for this position are GM, CFO, Manufacturing Manager, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain. The position is responsible for the full range of the day-to-day planning and scheduling end to end component manufacture and assembly activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Onsite in Chandler Arizona to drive daily cadence and drumbeat to the factories.
• Drive KPI"s performance targets (OTD performance, Cycle time, Green to Green tool UTP, etc.)
• Maintain data integrity of ERP planning parameters ensuring system accuracy including bill of materials, planning data, forecast and order reconciliation, lead times, and order quantities.
• Evolve the standard work and sequence of planning process and shop floor execution.
• Meetings and communication responsibilities include daily metric- based meetings to lead planning and manufacturing operations after developing the schedules.
• Manage & control workload data analysis including plant/ work center level / cell level.
