Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care based on individual need according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and within the scope of the practice of the Certified Nursing Assistant, after initial orientation and completion of skills checklist.
  • Responsible for directly observing and assisting patients who are at risk to cause injury to themselves or others.
  • Provides direct personal patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse within the scope of practice of the Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • Completes all documentation within departmental requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the State of Idaho
  • BLS certification required.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • One year of experience as a nurse assistant.
