Overview

The Pharmacist will assist in providing efficient, quality pharmaceutical care by performing specific tasks in:

*The procurement, storage, preparation, dispensing, distribution and maintenance of medications and supplies for all patient categories including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.

*Monitoring patient drug therapies and providing drug information.

*Supervising and directing support personnel, and in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of Pharmacist-in-Charge.

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

A. Education
1. Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy

B. License/Certification
1. Licensed to practice Pharmacy in the State of Georgia or Alabama as determined by job location

C. Experience
1. Experience in hospital and supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
