Robotics Assistant Coach Job Description
Position Title: Robotics Assistant Coach Reports To: Director of Engineering, Computer Science & Business Position Summary: The robotics team assistant coach is responsible to assist the head coach in recruiting and training students for robotics competitions. Essential Functions: * Sets up weekly meetings and takes attendance * Monitors robotevents.com and the vex forums for updated news during the season * Learns the new rules for VEX robotics competition each * Monitors and coaching students during the design and building process * Attends all competitions Goals of the Club: The goal of the Robotics Team is to successfully compete as a team in regional, state, and national events. Calendar: Regular: August through January Extended Season: February through April Hours Per Week: 6+ Governing Body: Robotevents.com Building: Niles West and Niles North Performance Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the District evaluation procedures.
