This opportunity is in the Business Optimization Transformation Department.

Role Description:

In the role of Business Architect, you will help Safety National define and implement a growing Business Architecture Practice. You will document the company's Value Streams and Business Capabilities and work with the business to improve them over time. This will include assessing current state to identify gaps in people, process and technology, creating transformation roadmaps, and measuring business outcomes. If you have modeling experience and enjoy the idea of working in a collaborative, team-based environment, we'd like to talk to you about this role.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:



  • Define, deliver, and manage Business Architecture models, including Capabilities, Goals, Strategies, and Value Streams, ensuring projects align with these models to deliver business value.
  • Conduct assessments of the current state to identify gaps in people, processes, technology, and information, and develop a target state model with a transformation roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Business Owners, Product Management, and IT Architects to ensure solutions will support overall business objectives


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, management, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field.


Required Qualifications:



  • 3 years' experience in Business Architecture, Business Analysis, Enterprise Architecture or a related, transferable skillset.
  • Knowledge of the BIZBOK (Business Architecture Body of Knowledge).
  • Ability to create Business Architecture artifacts.
  • Ability to facilitate business architecture mapping workshops.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Fluency with architecture applications, such as LeanIX.
  • Certification in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or SAFe Architecture disciplines
  • P & C Insurance experience.
  • Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
