Job Description

Brightspeed has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Lead to join our rapidly growing team! As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of technical solutions in the Enterprise & Wholesale and Data Backplane organizations. You will work closely with IT, Product Management, and Business stakeholders to ensure alignment on and execution of strategic corporate initiatives. This role will report to the VP, E&W OSS/BSS & Data Platform.

As a Technical Project Lead, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Primary point of contact for stakeholders, subject matter experts, and business partners for assigned efforts for Enterprise, Wholesale, and Data Backplane
  • Partners with technical IT leads in the definition, design, and implementation of Brightspeed's end-state architecture and takes a leading role in engaging with IT architects to solve complex technical challenges
  • Responsible for driving technical project execution ensuring that deliverables are on-time and aligned with Brightspeed's technology strategy
  • Providegeneral guidance and support to Program and Project managers to ensure technical solution is aligned with program deliverables and commitments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and technical solutions
  • Communicate technical concepts and project status to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Participate in and lead architectural design discussions and decisions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of systems
  • Performprogram or project management functions as needed.
  • Track and report on finance and procurement related activities for E&W OSS/BSS and Data Platform
Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project / Program Management, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross team programs
  • 4+ years of strong technical experience, preferably in project management or telecommunications
  • Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Ability to translate technical terms into plain language(and vice-versa)
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Experience creating C Suite level presentation materials
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail, context switching, and ability to cope with tight deadlines
  • Experience with Jira administration and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient in program planning and life cycle development tools

  • Certified Project / Program Management Professional (PMP)-PM or Project / Program Management Degree
