Position: Accounting Assistant For Our Client: Our esteemed client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as an Accounting Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of a leading company. Job Description: As an Accounting Assistant for our client, you will play a vital role in supporting various financial tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping within the accounting department. You'll collaborate closely with experienced professionals to maintain financial records and contribute to the smooth operation of financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial records Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures Provide general administrative support to the accounting department Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
