Overview

Job Purpose

The Manager of NYSE Options Strategy will be responsible for developing and supporting competitive and strategic analysis for the NYSE Options business. Areas of analysis include client performance and opportunities, commercial performance, competitive positioning, industry initiatives, new business initiatives, and impact of technology and regulatory changes. The results of this analysis will help drive business decisions and strategic planning, as well as support and grow client and other stakeholder relationships.

The position will primarily focus on the NYSE Options businesses, but other responsibilities may include efforts to assist other NYSE businesses, such as Equities, Listings and ETFs.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic competitive efforts and lead client relationship development:
    • Work with sales team and business development teams on key client efforts
    • Identify focus targets for pricing and other sales initiatives
    • Manage data-driven sales themes
    • Build tools to support Sales and Finance teams with client inquiries
    • Build reporting to identify products or clients that are underperforming goals or historical trends.
    • Assist in support of NYSE's key market operational functions
  • Assess usage of NYSE Options markets, including:
    • Financial performance
    • Client behavior
    • Order type usage
    • System functionality
    • Impact of pricing programs

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study
  • 2+ years of US Option experience in electronic trading, exchange operations, or another trading or investment function
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau and advanced Excel for data analysis
  • Knowledge of Python, R, or other common language(s)
  • Proficiency in US options market structure
  • Ability to stay up-to-date regarding competitors' agendas and offerings
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Intellectually curious with the ability to solve real world business problems using quantitative and computational techniques

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 120,000 - 195,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
