What you will do
Provide professional nursing or medical assistant care under supervision or scope of licensure for clinic patients.
* Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
* Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
* Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
* Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
* Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
* Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards.
* Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.
Qualifications
* CPS/BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program or Prevea sponsored program. Upon Hire Required
Medical Assistant
* Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.
* Certified as a Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.
Licensed Practical Nurse
* Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
* Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.
Emergency Medical Technician
* Graduation from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician program.
* Licensed EMT or AEMT and maintain this credential throughout employment
If holds other licenses that supersede CMA/RMA license may practice to the highest level of licensure with the approval of Quality Resources.
Experience Qualifications
* Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Preferred
