Description:At Salem Health we take pride in our status as an award-winning, independent health care institution providing the region with its only Level II trauma center and 644 acute care beds. Join Salem Health in providing quality cardiac care for our community! We're actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible cardiothoracic surgeon to join our team full-time as we redevelop a well-established business line. Foundationally we operate with three experienced heart surgeons, a dedicated thoracic surgeon and four skilled cardiac Physician Assistants, performing over 350 heart procedures and 175 general thoracic cases annually. Our facility boasts cutting-edge operating rooms and a Cath lab, ensuring the highest quality of care. Patients receive comprehensive services through our Salem Health Medical Group, comprising over 330 providers in 20 specialties. Uniquely positioned in the Willamette Valley, we serve diverse communities including metropolitan and rural populations through these multiple centers of excellence.
