Summary

The Latino Studies Program, housed within the Division of Social Sciences, at Saint Xavier University, invites applications for the ongoing pool of part-time adjunct faculty teaching in the undergraduate Latino Studies minor program. The division is looking to create a pool of adjuncts who could contribute to courses routinely offered by the minor, and therefore could include: Introduction to Latino Studies and electives in the applicant's area of expertise and interest. We are looking for applicants who are able to teach face-to-face or online courses.


Qualifications

  • Doctorate preferred; Master's degree acceptable
  • Evidence of effective teaching experience
  • Teaching training
Applicants should provide a cover letter and curriculum vitae, which specifies undergraduate Latino Studies courses taught, and separately, undergraduate Latino Studies courses qualified to teach, and teaching training. Each file should be labeled with the last name first (e.g., Lastname_CV.docx). Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. References will be contacted later to submit letters of recommendation.
