Position Summary The Organoid and Cell Culture Core at Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, Columbia University Medical Center, New York is seeking a full-time technician, who will be instrumental in the daily operations of the OCCC. This staff member will be primarily responsible for fulfilling basic service requests such as mycoplasma testing, conditioned medium preparation, and shipping, and will also be involved in the generation and characterization of novel patient-derived organoid lines. A promising candidate will have a bachelor or master's degree in one or more of the areas of biology, molecular biology, or biochemistry and must be detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently, and curious to learn new techniques. Hands-on experience with cell culture and molecular biology techniques is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities
