Robotics Head Coach Job Description

Position Title: Robotics Head Coach

Reports To: Director of Engineering, Computer Science & Business

Essential Functions:

• Registers teams through VEX and each competition.

• Monitors robotevents.com and the vex forums for updated news during the season.

• Learns the new rules for VEX robotics competition each

• Organizes and ordering VEX parts

• Communicates with VEX regional director

• Communicates with Student Activities director

• Monitors and coaches students during the design and building process

• Attends all competitions

Goals of the Club

The goal of the Robotics Team is to successfully compete as a team in regional, state, and national events.

Calendar: School Year

Hours Per Week: 6+

Building: Niles West and Niles North

Performance Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the District evaluation procedures.
