DecisionPoint prides itself on delivering efficient, effective solutions across a wide range of industries. Come join our team as a DevSecOps Platform Engineer on the UNITED STATES TRANSPORTATION COMMAND MILITARY SURFACE DEPLOYMENT AND DISTRIBUTION COMMAND (SDDC) IT Support Services contract!

DecisionPoint is looking DevSecOps Platform Engineer with expertise in GitLab, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Prisma Cloud CWP, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and reliability of our development and operations pipelines.

This position is 100% remote work and requires an active Secret clearance.



Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities
    Implement security best practices in the CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
  • Manage and optimize Amazon EKS clusters for scalability and efficiency
  • Automate deployment processes using Gitlab CI/CD and ArgoCD
  • Configure Grafana for monitoring and visualization of system metrics
  • Implement logging and monitoring on platform
  • Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform for managing cloud resources
  • Develop and implement Zero Trust security architecture
  • Conduct security assessments and identify vulnerabilities
  • Implement and manage Prisma Cloud CWP security platform
  • Monitor and analyze security events and respond to incidents
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Prisma Cloud policies and controls
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices
  • Conduct security assessments and provide remediation recommendations


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or 8 years' experience in related field
  • Active Secret clearance
  • DOD 8570-01M certification: IAT Level II or better (e.g., Security+ CE)
  • Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role
  • Strong communication skills and self-starter who can thrive in a remote work environment
  • Expertise in using GitLab for CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on experience managing and scaling Amazon EKS clusters
  • Proficiency in implementing and maintaining ArgoCD deployments
  • Familiarity with Grafana for developing monitoring system metrics
  • Experience in utilizing Grafana Loki for logging and observability
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in a DevOps environment
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
  • Expertise in creating and managing Helm charts, templating, and customizing charts as per application requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
