Staff Research Associate II

Description Join our team as an SRA II and contribute to quality improvement (QI), data management, and business and clinical service development under the supervision of the Chief of Division. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Weekly transferring eCRF data into the database, ensuring accuracy, and following up on any discrepancies with physicians.
  • Maintaining and updating the database, preparing monthly and annual reports using Excel or other statistical tools.
  • Monitoring report accuracy by reviewing Neurovascular anatomy and correct terminology.
  • Analyzing Interventional Neuroradiology reports and integrating the data into the database.
  • Independently organizing and addressing data collection issues, demonstrating strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Utilizing medical statistics, STATA software, and REDCap for data analysis and management.
  • Effectively communicating research goals to faculty, research teams, and trainees, and advising on statistical methods and study design.

You will also participate in clinical and teaching conferences, handle special projects, and ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and HIPAA regulations. Salary: $28.04 - $45.11 hourly

Qualifications

Required:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, as well as anatomy and physiology of cerebrovascular system.
  • Familiarity with specificities of NeuroInterventional/NeuroEndovascular procedures, cerebrovascular pathology.
  • Strong medical statistics and epidemiology background, knowledge and proficiency using STATA software for analysis as well as automation of data collection.
  • Experience using REDCap application for building and managing databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, initiate and work independently to address responsibilities; must have strong time management skills and ability to independently prioritize tasks and re-prioritize work based on knowledge of research objectives.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule in order to meet changing priorities.
  • Previous experience in clinical studies/clinical trials. Knowledge of the preparation of research documents, scientific presentations, and IRB submissions.
  • Skill in using personal computers; working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation programs.
