The Operator supports production by operating a variety of equipment to produce quality product per provided criteria and work instructions. This position is required to cooperate with other cross functional departments to ensure and maintain part quality, proper procedure execution, a safe and productive work environment, and culture standards.
Currently hiring for Y Shift: 5pm-5am Friday - Sunday
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Follow all safety policies and practice 6S standards to maintain a safe and clean working environment for all employees. Identify and escalate potential safety risks on the floor. Operate equipment, independently or in a team environment, per the work instructions. Utilize electronic devices daily to reference work instructions, control plans, visual criteria and accurately log production numbers. Perform repetitive tasks as needed and maintain production pace and quality standards as specified by the applicable documentation to meet process metrics such as delivery, efficiency, and quality. Recognize and react to problems with equipment, escalate as required. Close attention to detail concerning product quality through utilizing visual criteria and escalate issues to appropriate personnel. Use fixtures, jigs, and hand tools as necessary to ensure proper position and/or movement of components and parts. Work with Machine Set Up Technician to resolve problems with equipment. Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation. Conduct Autonomous Maintenance tasks as prescribed. Place processed parts into containers and palletize per the work instruction and at specified quantities per the part tag. Other duties and projects as determined by business and production needs.
The TOOLS you'll bring with you:
High school diploma or equivalent. 0-1 years of machine operation experience. Understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Basic math skills. Basic mechanical skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to read and understand provided work instructions.
