Head Club Ultimate Coach

General Summary of Position:

This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Club Sports and indirectly to all Campus Recreation professional staff members and sport club officers.

The Club Ultimate team falls under Campus Recreation and is not associated with Athletics. The team is open to all participants and is currently structured to have an A team that competes competitively against other Universities in the region and a B team that also competes against other Universities but is more recreational or for beginners.

Job Duties:
* Provide skill development for college students and cater to a variety of skill levels
* To organize safe and appropriate sport sessions
* To supervise/mentor/guide the participating members of each club
* Attend all team practices and games
* Duty to act in an emergency by performing emergency evacuations; provide First-Aid, CPR, AED based on current certification
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
* Previous experience in coaching or participating in specific sport
* Flexible, availability and high level of responsibility
* High school diploma or equivalent
* First-Aid, CPR, AED, & Blood Borne Pathogen certifications- must receive within 90 days of starting.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
