A.I.S., Inc. (AIS) is a national scientific services firm supporting maritime activities requiring certification of compliance with environmental regulations as well as collecting data for use by Federal, State, Municipal, and other government agencies along the US coastline. AIS is recruiting a full-time Observer Coordinator to support the SE Fisheries Observer Program. Primary Functions: The OC will oversee staff by managing their day-to-day operations and tracking their movements while on deployments. The OC will assist in observer coverage selection mailings to permit holders, managing databases primarily through quality control procedures, and collaborating with NMFS senior scientists, enforcement, the Coast Guard, the commercial fishing industry, and administrative personnel from various NMFS divisions. Duties/Responsibilities:
Compensation: Candidates will be paid a salary to be negotiated and total compensation will vary depending on candidates' level of experience. This is a full-time position. AIS benefits package includes health and dental insurance, vacation, sick and holiday benefits. Potential additional compensation consists of performance incentives, service awards, fitness center reimbursement, and referral bonus. Minimum Qualifications:
