Belden is seeking an innovative and visionary leader to redefine how we deliver unforgettable experiences through our events and Customer Innovation Centers (CIC) in the Americas. This role is not about traditional event planning; it's about designing bold, creative, and transformative experiences that elevate our brand and deeply resonate with customers, employees, and stakeholders. If you're a big thinker with a passion for pushing boundaries and bringing off-the-wall ideas to life, this is the role for you.

You will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Developing an experience strategy that goes beyond traditional events and customer interactions, positioning Belden as a solutions leader.
  • Reimagining the role of our Customer Innovation Centers by creating immersive, interactive, and high-impact experiences that leave lasting impressions on internal teams and external customers.
  • Defining the future of events for Belden, using data, trends, and a creative mindset to shape which events we participate in, host, or innovate.
  • Challenging traditional norms of event planning by designing experiences that blend storytelling and bold design to bring the Belden brand to life in unexpected ways.
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure a unified vision that integrates branding, memorable messaging, and differentiated positioning across all touchpoints.
  • Leading the team members responsible for executing your vision for regional events including planning, coordination, agenda, materials, displays, promotional items, meeting room experiences, food and beverage, digital experiences, departure and post-event follow-up.
  • Inspiring and empowering your team to think big, take risks, and execute world-class events and experiences that align with the company's vision and values.
  • Optimizing processes and redefining success metrics to measure the impact of experiences in terms of engagement, brand loyalty, and business outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Event Management, or a similar field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the marketing field and managing customer events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Extensive experience in project management and event planning execution. Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
