Become a part of our team at Dell Power Plant, where we are dedicated to providing reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy. Our combined cycle power generating facility, located in the heart of Dell, Arkansas, is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician with a passion for learning and growing to ensure our plant operates at peak performance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance & Repair: Maintain and repair mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, valves, and external turbine support equipment. Perform routine and emergent maintenance tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Expertly troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, applying timely and effective resolutions.
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and operate various tools, such as drill presses, pipe threading machines, and grinders, to fabricate and repair parts.
  • Technical Skills: Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, technical manuals, and P&ID's to ensure accurate maintenance and repairs.
  • Technology Integration: Utilize computerized maintenance and operations management systems to document activities and ensure seamless plant operations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Combined cycle plant experience preferred. Experience with standard industry practices in confined space, LOTO, hot work, etc.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong mechanical ability and aptitude in mechanical maintenance. Proficient in using word processors, spreadsheets, and computerized maintenance systems.
  • Ability to qualify as Outside Operator within one year is preferred.
Additional Skills Preferred:
  • Experience with low and medium voltage electrical systems maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of schematics and technical documentation.
