Position: Japanese Bilingual Tax Associate
Location: Full-Remote
Industry: CPA Firm
OVERVIEW:
A mid-sized CPA firm with over 300 employees is currently looking to hire experienced Japanese Bilingual Tax Staff, Senior Staff, and Managers. These positions primarily involve managing corporate tax engagements. The roles are fully remote, and candidates from all over the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Part-time candidates are also welcome.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
* Preparation of corporate and partnership tax returns.
* Offering valuable tax-related advice to clients spanning from middle-market to multinational companies.
* Providing consultation on technical aspects and special projects related to corporate tax, GAAP risk assessment, and SOX.
* Addressing inquiries from Federal and State tax authorities.
* Conducting research on various tax matters and staying informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
* Establishing strong client relationships by comprehending their operations and business goals and applying this knowledge to engagements.
* Fulfilling other assigned duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Japanese bilingual proficiency is mandatory.
* Minimum 2 years of Prior experience in Public Accounting is a requirement.
* A strong foundation in Corporate Tax with relevant experience is essential.
* CPA License is required.

* While holding a CPA credential is highly preferred, it is not mandatory. However, candidates must be eligible to sit for the CPA/EA exams.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
