Co-Occurring Disorders Specialist (SUDP or Clinician I or II) - FT - 40hours per week PACT South, Marysville Compass Health is currently looking for a Co-Occurring Disorders Specialist for our PACT South Program in Marysville. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders Specialist. The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for providing integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders services within the larger framework of integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders. This includes systematic and integrated screening and assessment, as well as interventions tailored to those in early stages of change readiness, such as outreach and motivational interviewing, and those in later stages of change readiness, such as CBT and relapse prevention. The specialist will work closely with other team members to ensure that integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders is reflected across all data sources, including progress notes and treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and co-occurring disorders, as well as experience in delivering integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders. They will be knowledgeable about the interactions between mental illness and co-occurring disorders, and be skilled in motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral principles. Additionally, the candidate will be able to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders is embraced by all team members. This is a challenging and rewarding position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of those with co-occurring disorders. PACT services are provided by a multi-disciplinary team that includes mental health professionals, a psychiatric prescriber, nurses, a substance use disorder specialist, a vocational specialist, peer counselors, and community support specialists. The entire PACT team carries the caseload rather than an individual clinician. The majority of services are provided in the client's home or other community settings. Clients are seen several times per week, and sometimes multiple times per day, in order to promote stabilization and recovery. What you will be performing The Clinician I or II will provide direct, supportive, and ongoing coordination of therapeutic services to assist clients with behavioral health disorders achieve the highest level of independence and stability possible in their community. Services delivered are recovery-focused and include but are not limited to case management, treatment planning, resource identification and assistance, identification and development of natural supports, advocacy, service monitoring and follow-up, collaboration with natural supports and other providers, and individual and group services. The Clinician I or II is responsible for assessing client functioning and needs, and partnering with the client to develop an individually tailored care plan designed to promote recovery.
