Primary Responsibilities:



  • Support the individual line of business with adherence to advertising regulations
  • Provide guidance on and ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines and regulations
  • Review the use and risk of advertisements marketing numerous insurance products using various marketing mediums that include printed and published material, audio visual material, and descriptive literature of an insurer used in direct mail, newspapers, magazines, radio scripts, TV scripts, web sites, social media, and other Internet displays or communications, other forms of electronic communications, billboards, and similar displays
  • Review descriptive literature and sales aids issued by an insurer, agency, producer, agent/broker, or solicitor for presentation to members of the insurance buying public, such as circulars, leaflets, booklets, depictions, illustrations, form letters and lead generating websites and prepared sales talks, presentations, and material for use by agents, brokers, producers, and solicitors
  • Perform regulatory research as requested
  • Complete comprehensive audits of agency websites to determine potential regulatory and compliance issues
  • Develop and maintain compliance communications, processes, procedures and best practices
  • Analyze impact of product and/or product updates to prepare review plans for team
  • Analyzes and investigate inquiries
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
  • Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
  • Works with less structured, more complex issues
  • Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree (or higher)
  • 3+ years of experience planning, prioritizing, organizing, and completing work to meet deadlines
  • 2+ years insurance experience or may consider adjacent field (such as financial industry)
  • 1+ years of experience working with marketing and advertising rules and regulations and insurance terminology
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Familiarity with social media platforms and reviewing digital advertising, including TikTok, understanding of internet terminology and technology
  • Experience in SnagIt, SharePoint, and Adobe Professional
  • Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) marketing tools
  • Experience engaging multiple technical programs simultaneously

California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Hawaii or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $70,200 to $137,800 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
