We are currently seeking an Ultrasonic Testing Technician at our Huntsville, AL location. This is a 2nd shift position with working hours from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.

Primary Responsibilities:

As an Ultrasonic Technician, you will work with testing and inspection equipment to provide examination and testing metallic parts for jet engine components.

A successful Ultrasonic Testing Technician has strong attention to detail and embraces the opportunity to be empowered to make important decisions regarding the integrity of our components.

Essential Duties:

• Conducting daily ultrasonic setups, examination, and testing of components to determine acceptability of product.
• Examining product for possible defects and documenting results accordingly.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, specifications, and procedures in order to accomplish ultrasonic setups, tests and reporting.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Dedication to safe work practices
• Capable of distinguishing and differentiating colors
• Vision of 20/25 in at least one eye, natural or corrected
