Senior Consultant- Healthcare Off Shore Risk & Security Compliance

Summary:

In this role, you play a key role in evaluating the company's offshore activities, working closely with senior employees to ensure compliance with acceptable company risk levels. You will assist with reporting, investigation, implementation, and documenting the off-shore efforts. This individual contributor also provides support on projects including assisting in development and coordination of plans and coordinating with stakeholders. The individual will support a team the ensures that the company's strategic suppliers are adhering to the offshore requirements.

This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders within company to ensure that the processes impacting suppliers are in compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Complete work assignments by applying up-to-date expertise in subject area to generate creative solutions; ensuring all procedures and policies are followed; leveraging an understanding of data, and resources to support projects or initiatives; collaborating cross-functionally to solve business problems; identifying and monitoring priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; identifying, recommending, and implementing ways to address improvement opportunities; and escalating issues or risks as appropriate.
  • Conduct company off-shore reviews under the guidance of more senior employees by providing support to internal and external stakeholders; applying established regulations and standards to off-shore efforts; and documenting activities.
  • Assist with reporting efforts by monitoring, and compiling data and information to identify potential risks and remedies; researching, analyzing, and summarizing data; and reporting to senior team members on key off-shore risk drivers, liabilities, and performance indicators (for example, adherence to standards, incorporation of new regulations).
  • Assist with off-shore risk investigation efforts by collecting and analyzing data; identifying misalignment with desired compliance actions; conducting interviews as appropriate; determining action steps for resolution; and providing input on corrective action plans.
  • Provide support on projects by coordinating stakeholder contacts; assisting in the development, analysis, and coordination of project plans for specific deliverables; and coordinating project schedules and resource forecasts.
  • Assist in the implementation of off-shore efforts by identifying risk requirements; supporting the assessment of current state to identify gaps and corrective actions; supporting the creation or revision of basic off-shore standards, policies and procedures, and training; and monitoring ongoing adherence to the off-shore standards.
  • Candidate will also be involved in completing contracting efforts to document agreements with off-short efforts

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business or related field and a
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in risk assessment or compliance, operations (quality, risk, etc.), audit, finance, regulatory or public policy development, investigations, information security, or insurance/health plan governance or a directly related field. .
  • Experience in health plan operations.
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience working cross-functionally across departments, functions, or business lines.
  • Health care experience preferred.
  • Experience in pharmacy compliance, practice assessment, or regulatory affairs.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting (e.g., hospital, medical center).
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or other equivalent compliance certification preferred.
  • Privacy & Security Compliance certification.
  • This position will report to the Vizient Vice President, Indirect Services.
    Reporting violations of the company's policies and procedures, Standards of Business Conduct, governance program, laws and regulations through the company's Help Line or other mechanism that available at the time of the violation. Assists with internal control failure remediation efforts.
  • Become knowledgeable of internal control responsibilities through training and instruction. Responsible and accountable for internal control performance within their area of responsibility. Participates in the internal controls self-assessment process.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
