Widener University is currently seeking a 10-month non-tenure track Associate Professor of Counselor Education and Graduate Program Director for the Master of Counselor Education Program. This role reports to the Director of the Center for Social Work education. The candidate is required to have graduated with a master degree in Counselor Education or related field from an accredited college or university but a person graduated with a doctoral degree, in Counselor Education or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred. Responsibilities include teaching courses on campus and online, serving as the graduate program director, contributing to scholarship through presentations and/or publications, maintaining currency in the academic discipline through continuing study, professional development, and/or participation in professional activities, and pursuing service and leadership opportunities within the Program, Center, College, University and profession.
