We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Advisor to the President (CSO & SA) in Dayton, Ohio. This full-time role, with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000, involves providing high-level executive support, managing a wide range of responsibilities with precision and confidentiality, and promoting team cohesion.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the CSO & SA’s calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and arrange travel logistics.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate responses to email communications, prepare materials for meetings, and handle incoming communications.
  • Assist with budget tracking, take notes in meetings, and follow up on tasks related to CSO & SA projects.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, draft and edit documents, and maintain organized filing systems.
  • Support special projects, identify areas for process improvement, and take on other duties as assigned.

Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree along with 3-5 years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably supporting C-suite executives. Essential skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent organizational and time management abilities, and discretion in handling confidential information. You should be proactive, flexible, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for the organization's mission, are crucial.

The role involves occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs., extended periods of sitting, and regular use of a computer for data entry and correspondence.

If you are passionate about advancing inclusive democracy and want to make a difference, we encourage you to apply.
