The Assistant Controller is responsible for providing guidance on all financial-related matters for the assigned group/division. The position will work closely with Management in various office locations with the analysis of financial matters, budgets, job costs, and other related requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Controller, manage all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, statements, budgets, forecasting, and financial and budget reviews.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements.
- Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of accounts.
- Provide support to management in various office locations with the analysis of financial matters, budgets, job costs, and other related requirements.
- Maintain regular communication and provide updates to the Controller for all assigned matters.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by upper management.
Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- A Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in Accounting.
- Strong computer skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office for Windows (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to manage relationships both internally and externally.
- Fast paced environment. Incumbent must be multitask oriented, organized, set priorities and meet deadlines.

This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.
0 -5% of the time to and from the primary office to regional branch offices. Competitive Wages: $133,000 - 171,500 Annual Salary.
